Interns & Volunteers

Home > About Us > Who We Are > Interns & Volunteers

Sandblast is currently supported by a group of interns and volunteers who support the charity with their time and skills to advance our operations and our projects. Their contributions are invaluable in face of the upcoming 2011 Running the Sahara campaign,  capacity-building workshops in the camps, and the need for essential funding for Sandblast.

Our interns

From September 1st, we welcome Craig Melson to the Sandblast Team. Craig is a much valued addition to our team at a crucial point in Sandblast’s Running the Sahara campaign. He will be assisting us with our awareness-raising efforts and recruitment of participants for the annual Saharamarathon in February 2011. We are very excited to have him on board.

Our volunteers

Greeting card designer Amanda Seymour is helping with the design of logos, marketing and promotion material for the  charity and specifically the 2011 Running the Sahara Campaign {link}.

Bristol-based Liz Harkman supports Sandblast with funding applications for our operations and our projects both in the camps and in the UK, more recently the Recording Studio-Live project.

Corporate Fundraiser Annette Gibbons-Warren volunteers her skills  to assist us with funding applications for core funding for Sandblast.

Sabrina Tucci, Editorial Assistant at the International Secretariat of Amnesty International, volunteers her time during a sabbatical with research in the camps to bolster the  information basis and feedback for our projects.

If you want to become a volunteer for Sandblast, check out Volunteering or get in touch.
