Founded and directed by Danielle Smith, the charity is managed by a five-member board, Events & Research Coordinator Nina Murray, Events Support Assistant Craig Melson and Web Editor Cathrin Lemoine.

The board of trustees reflects a group of professionals with an interest in supporting Sandblast and the Saharawi cause with their respective expertise in law, research, performance art and others.

Sandblast relies on associations and partnerships in the educational, cultural, media and third sectors to develop and promote its mission. We aim to establish links with non-profit organisations all over the world which focus on the Saharawi issue  to create a strong activist network of many voices and visions for  Saharawi human rights.

The charity also relies on volunteers for various aspects of charity management, fundraising, advocacy, and events.
