Funders and Sponsors
Sandblast’s funding support initially came from the trade union movement. In particular from UNISON, the Fire Brigade Union and AMICUS and others. This unexpected source, which nevertheless is rooted in the international solidarity work of some trade unions, provided a huge vote of confidence and helped give us legitimacy and credibility for the work we do. It was on the basis of this support that we later got significant funding from organizations like the Arts Council and Lottery Fund.
